Sesame – FlexSpline Robotic Gear Reducers
These FlexSpline zero-backlash robotic gear reducers are DieQua’s new SymphoDrive strain wave gearboxes. The new robotic gearboxes provide zero-backlash and high output torque power transmission in a lightweight, compact enclosed speed reducer for robotic and high positional accuracy applications. SymphoDrive strain wave gearboxes are available in two types depending on installation requirements, enclosed in a housing to drop-in industry standards or as a component set integrated into the customer’s configuration. Frame sizes are available in 5 sizes, from 14 to 32 with ratios 50:1 to 120:1

What is a FlexSpline Robotic Gear Reducer?
Flex spline reducers, also known as strain wave gear reducers, are sophisticated mechanical components used in various motion control applications to achieve high gear reduction ratios with exceptional precision and accuracy.
These devices consist of three main components: a wave generator, flex spline, and along the major axis, a rigid circular spline. The wave generator creates a wave-like motion that deforms the flex spline, causing it to engage with the circular spline. This interaction results in a highly efficient and compact mechanism for achieving significant speed reduction and torque multiplication.
